About
Welcome to the Props Blog!
I wasn’t really into blogs other than Lifehacker and World of Ming when I played World of Warcraft while I was in college. One day, World of Ming linked to John Chow as an example of how blogging can provide substantial income if you do it right. After reading John Chow’s eBook, I haphazardly started Props Blog.
Props Blog originally started as a blog to give props to awesome websites, programs, people, and stuff in general. Props Blog has experienced strong growth and evolved from a “Props” site to a How to Blog and Review site. After a 6 week break over the holidays, Props blog now has a slightly more clear direction.
Seth Godin wrote an article claiming “Information about information might be worth more than the information itself.“ That’s exactly what to expect from Props Blog. Props blog is now focused around giving blogging tips based my experience with it’s growth, information about information, and occasionally, posts about offline experiences. I also plan to start reviewing affiliate products; however the reviews will be send via my mailing list which you can sign up for in the upper right of any page.
Props Blog is also now accepting guest post submissions. I’m pretty open to most posts as long as they are quality and semi-on topic.
Finally, if you come across something that you think others should know about or you have a product you would like me to give props to, send me an e-mail or at blakeATpropsblogDOTcom!
