If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the move. I somehow manage to drive nearly 2000 miles every month only traveling in the DFW metroplex. When you are on the road that much, it’s not always easy to find a place with free WiFi.
Sure, you can stop at Starbucks or fast food chains which are increasingly starting to have free WiFi, but they aren’t always convenient. Even then, many of these places don’t have power outlets, so you end up getting stuck with a dead laptop (you have a converter for your car, right?).
Finally, there are times my wife needs to check things online while we are driving from one place to another, and it is really nice not having to stop for her to… Click to continue...
Knowing where to start with SEO, social media, and online marketing can be confusing and frustrating. Even if you know your way around, there’s always more to the ever changing puzzle than it seems.

There are a ton of blogs out there today about how to blog. Just do a search for Make Money Blogging or How To Start A Blog, and you’ll get millions of results. Insane!
In this highly competitive niche on how to blog, few blogs make it past the initial startup, and most don’t gain a strong following for over a year.
When I first saw the name Blogussion, I thought “oh, a pro blogger from Russia.” It turns out my brain processed Blogussian… I felt dumb when I figured out a couple of days later it was Blog Discussion. Now that I’ve confessed that I’m a dolt time to time, we can move on.

Since I started blogging, I’ve come across a ton of amazing people and some really cool blogs. Like most bloggers, I have my list of big name blogs I follow like John Chow, Daily Blog Tips, Copyblogger, and Chris Brogan to name a few.
I also have some smaller blogs that either haven’t hit the big time yet or aren’t designed to go mainstream. Website-in-a-Weekend (which is a very misleading name since it is updated daily at a minimum) by Dave Doolin is one of my favorites.

If you blog, you love your blog. You would do anything you could to make your blog better, wouldn’t you?
What about take risky advice? Would you change the way you think about design and SEO to get the most out of it? Chris Pearson is an expert Wordpress theme designer and has some amazing SEO tricks. If you like the theme over at Copyblogger, you might want to listen to Chris; he designed it. He is also in very tight with Thesis. You know, that little theme that many of the best blogs use because it is so powerful.
In fact, if you spend any time visiting blogs, you’ll probably run into several themes Chris P. had has hands on.

There is a fine line between being a blogger and being an internet marketer who blogs. While I totally respect blogging entirely out of passion, I think great business opportunities are lost if you don’t consider the big picture.
I’ve already mentioned five of the top make money sites that you should check out, but there are countless other sites worth checking out. This week, I’m going to share my top 4 marketing sites.
Like my previous top 5, you might have already heard of these; however, if you aren’t reading these blogs, they are going to blow your mind and change how you think about marketing.

Search “Make money online” using Google, and you’ll get 181 million results. Try “make money bogging” and get another 175 million results. With so many resources out there, it is hard to determine where to go and what to read.
Among all the amazing blogs in this niche, there are five that I check on a daily basis because their content is so powerful and written with such quality that I can’t stop reading: John Chow dot Com, Daily Blog Tips, Copyblogger, Problogger, and Site Sketch 101.
In March of 2007 Daily Blog Tips did a Bloggers Face-off series; to this day it is still one of his most popular topics (see the Darren Rowse vs. Jeremy Schoemaker for a great example). He used a table to… Click to continue...
Some people have amazing marketing ideas and know how to generate hype. Daniel Scocco from Daily Blog Tips struck gold by creating a laptop giveaway for reviewing his new free eBook, Make Money Blogging. Before I even get to the review, I just want to point out that dozens if not hundreds of reviews will be written about his eBook generating a long lasting stream of marketing for him. Props!
As a daily reader of Daniel’s blog, I was very excited to hear he published a free eBook. While reading the many awesome blogger/make money online websites, it is easy to become lost, overwhelmed, and/or frustrated trying to find the information you want. This is where Daniel’s eBook comes in and sweeps the reader off their feet. He… Click to continue...
Between Lifehacker which I already gave props to and Makeuseof, I don’t think I’ll ever be at a loss for finding sweet useful new software. I am always looking for some weird new syncing utility or a way to make people pay for stealing my WiFi. If you are constantly trying to keep your computer secure or just like new ways to organize files and optimize your workspace, you’re going to want to find out more about Makeuseof.com.
The first thing you’ll notice when you get to the homepage is how simple it is. There aren’t a million ads jamming up the page or a million options of what to read and… Click to continue...
If you’re not one of the people that make Lifehacker a top 1,250 webpage in the world, and you don’t live in the UK, you’ve probably never heard of Spotify. I heard about Spotify on Lifehacker and decided to try it. Having not read the whole article, I missed the part that said Spotify isn’t available in the US yet. It turns out if you use a Click to continue...
