Despite having a complete hatred of all blogs, Maddox has what anyone with a brain would consider one of the earliest successful blogs. Since 1998 Maddox the pirate has been giving the world his always correct opinion about everything. When you go there prepare to read tons of hysterically offensive commentary about pop culture, politics, movies, video games, and manliness. My favorite part about all of Maddox is that he is trying to offend his readers; unless you are extremely conservative, pro-”manliness”, and have an “idle” sense of awesome video games and action flicks, he is going to say something that will offend you. Some of the funniest posts are his responses to hate mail. He just belittles, mocks, and publicly berates the writers. At the bottom of each post he has a hit counter telling explaining what the reader got from the post or what the post says about the reader. It’s hard to explain, so just check it out. When you check the page out, just remember that it is written to be extremely satirical and sarcastic. As long as you don’t take it seriously, you’ll get a great laugh. He hasn’t updated much in the last 2 or 3 years, so be sure to check his archives; that’s where his best stuff is. He also came out with a book called The Alphabet of Manliness that totally awesome which I strongly suggest reading!

Not offended at all. But yes, it’s the best page in the universe indeed.
