Between Lifehacker which I already gave props to and Makeuseof, I don’t think I’ll ever be at a loss for finding sweet useful new software. I am always looking for some weird new syncing utility or a way to make people pay for stealing my WiFi. If you are constantly trying to keep your computer secure or just like new ways to organize files and optimize your workspace, you’re going to want to find out more about Makeuseof.com.
The first thing you’ll notice when you get to the homepage is how simple it is. There aren’t a million ads jamming up the page or a million options of what to read and 
where to go. On the left is the stream of what is normally about 7-10 articles per day. There is a daily Cool Websites and Tools article which lives up to its name. I have no idea how they can come up with so many awesome webpages on a daily basis. I have more bookmarks than I know what to do with thanks to Makeuseof.
On the right side of the page is the basic navigation. They have Article, Apps, and Geeky Fun followed by a clear list of 12 useful topics. This page actually has better and easier to find software recommendations than Lifehacker! At the bottom of the page you’ll find the staff long with MyBlogLog where you can join the community. For singing up for their e-mailing list they will trade you 11 very useful “cheat sheets” including an Idiot’s Guide to Photoshop which I am working through now (and will probably leave a comment on this post later with a short review). Overall, the cheat sheet and other utilities Makeuseof gives you for signing up for their mailing list is absolutely a great value.
