Thesis is without a doubt the most popular premier theme among top bloggers. There is probably a reason for that. Right now I’m using a free theme to learn my way around CSS and PHP. I’ll probably upgrade to thesis in 2-3 months.

The theme I’m currently using is also a free theme. I’m no CSS expert, but I have been able to edit my theme to get my site’s appearance to be a little closer to what I was aiming for.

I think long term going to something like Thesis is definitely a worthy investment. The code is need and efficient. They are constantly updating, so if something major changes on the net or with browsers, you won’t have to worry about your theme being broken without support.

Brian Clark from Copyblogger did a really cool video explaining how Thesis can greatly improve your SEO. I’m not convinced that you can’t do that with your own theme, but without extensive knowledge of CSS, PHP, and the like, I have a hard time believing someone can optimize as well as Thesis does.

I was using Affiliate Theme but it wasn’t all that great. Felt like I threw away 93$. So now I’m using a free theme called mystique. It’s customizable with either 1, 2 or 3 columns and lots more. When i feel confident again I’ll purchase a theme from WooThemes. They offer great themes and great service.

Thanks Blake, I am also practicing with theme on my local WordPress because I need some SEO friendly theme for my blog, Thesis is one of my own personal favorite , but its customization require some time, I’ll have a look on this theme.

I really wanted a 3 column theme, so the old Copyblogger theme doesn’t really work for me. If I were using a 2 column theme, the Copyblogger free theme would be my first choice for free themes.

We actually talked about your theme via e-mail. You’re lucky you got it at the price you did ;-) It seems to be a pretty powerful and useful theme.
